
Purpose of the Program
In today’s world, where the Industry 4.0 philosophy is transforming all sectors, various engineering activities within businesses must work in harmony. This harmony is one of the most effective ways to be innovative and create added value. In addition to the individual need for different engineering disciplines, possessing interdisciplinary knowledge has become indispensable for modern industry.
The Mechatronics Program aims to train qualified personnel for various job definitions in sectors that require the interdisciplinary collaboration of mechanical, electronics, computer, and control engineering. The program holds strategic importance in achieving our country’s goals outlined in the Industry 4.0 roadmap.
Fields of Employment
Graduates of this program can work in the automation sector and its sub-sectors primarily, as well as in many areas such as production, design, maintenance, R&D, aerospace, defense industry, and more, with the title of “Mechatronics Technician.”
After completing their associate degree, graduates may continue their academic or career development in the field of mechatronics, or they may specialize in other engineering disciplines.
