For this purpose, the program provides education with a constantly updated curriculum and course contents. The curriculum of the program consists mainly of software/programming courses, and all of the field courses are processed practically in the computer laboratory. During their 2-year education, students will learn C++, C#, Java programming languages and HTML, CSS, JavaScript and ASP.NET They are trained to develop console, desktop, internet-web and mobile applications with the trainings they receive on MVC.
In addition, in the database courses included in the curriculum, students acquire skills for database management and the development of applications using these databases by studying both Microsoft Sql Server and Oracle. Students are directed to an area where they want to improve themselves within the scope of the vocational project course and carry out sector-oriented applications in this area.
Fields of Study
Graduates of the Computer Programming Program can work as a computer programmer or computer technician in government institutions and private sector. In addition, program graduates can be employed as a computer programmer, system support staff, computer trainer, software specialist, software test specialist, application programmer, network supervisor, analyst programmer, technical consultant, web designer, internet programmer, software coordinator, data preparation and control operator and project manager in the software or computing departments of companies and companies in the information sector.
Vertical Transfer Exam
The Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS) is an exam that allows associate degree graduates to transfer to 4-year undergraduate programs. Graduates of the Computer Programming Program have the opportunity to transfer to many undergraduate programs under different faculties with DGS. Thus, in addition to the associate degree diploma they have, they can also obtain a bachelor’s degree.
