On February 17, 2025, the Science Communication Office University Meeting was held in Ankara, hosted by Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar, President of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK). The event brought together Vice Rectors and Communication Office Coordinators from universities across Türkiye.

Our Vice Rector and Department Chair, Prof. Dr. Nurdan Çolakoğlu, and Communication Office Director Duygu Aygün attended the meeting. Discussions focused on disseminating scientific research to the public, creating platforms for scientists to effectively share their work, publications, and projects, and the importance of collaborations. Detailed insights were provided on the “Science Homeland” project and the development of a scientist inventory.
