Required Documents for Application and Registration

ACADEMIC

GRADUATE EDUCATION INSTITUTE

Turkish Students

 

Master’s Programs:

  1. Filling out the T.R. Istanbul Arel University Postgraduate Application Form,
  2. A notarized photocopy of Bachelor’s diploma or a temporary graduation certificate,
  3. Notarized Academic Record (transcript),
  4. Photocopy of identity,
  5. 3 color passport photos (4.5 x 6 cm.),
  6. Military active service status certificate for male candidates,
  7. ALES certificate for Master’s Programs with Thesis, (ALES Result certificate is valid for 5 years),
    (GMAT or GRE certificate determined by the Higher Education Council equivalent to ALES base score)

 

Doctoral Programs:

  1. Filling out the doctoral application form of T.R. Istanbul Arel University,
  2. Notarized Bachelor’s and Master’s diplomas,
  3. Notarized Bachelor’s and Master’s Academic Record (transcript),
  4. Photocopy of identity,
  5. 3 color passport photos (4.5 x 6 cm.),
  6. Military active service status certificate for male candidates,
  7. ALES exam result certificate or GMAT or GRE certificate determined by the Council of Higher Education equivalent to ALES base score (ALES Result certificate is valid for 5 years),
  8. YDS exam result certificate or result certificate taken from one of the international exams accepted by the Interuniversity Council, (YDS Result certificate is valid for 5 years).

 

 

International Students

Master’s Programs:

  1. Filling out the T.R. İstanbul Arel University Graduate Application Form,
  2. Having a bachelor’s diploma Notarized Turkish translation of the diploma,
  3. Original or certified copy of the Equivalence Certificate obtained from the Council of Higher Education (YÖK),
  4. Notarized Academic Record (transcript),
  5. Notarized copies of study visas and passports, and their translations,
  6. 4 color passport photos (4.5 x 6 cm.),
  7. A Student Visa received from the T.R. Consulate General of the Embassy in the student’s country,
  8. Receiving at least 70 points out of 100 from the Turkish Language exam to be held by TÖMER or the commission established by Istanbul Arel University (Those who are not successful in the Turkish language exam are considered to be on leave for 1 year to learn Turkish.)

 

Doctoral Programs:

  1. Filling out the doctoral application form of T.R. İstanbul Arel University,
  2. Having a Bachelor’s and Master’s diploma, Notarized Turkish translation of the diploma,
  3. Original or certified copy of the Equivalence Certificate obtained from the Council of Higher Education (YÖK),
  4. Notarized Academic Record (transcript),
  5. Notarized copies of study visas and passports, and their translations,
  6. 4 color passport photos (4.5 x 6 cm.),
  7. A Student Visa received from the T.R. Consulate General of the Embassy in the student’s country,
  8. Receiving at least 70 points out of 100 from the Turkish Language exam to be held by TÖMER or the commission established by Istanbul Arel University (Those who are not successful in the Turkish language exam are considered to be on leave for 1 year to learn Turkish.)
