Mission

To educate prospective teachers who have the ability to determine and interpret the interaction between literary texts and historical, political, cultural and social conditions, who have the ability to contribute to national and international scientific studies, who are conscious of continuous learning in this direction, who can think critically and creatively, who are sensitive to Atatürk’s principles and Republican values, and who have the academic equipment to work as Turkish teachers and Turkish Language and Literature teachers in schools, private schools, study and private lesson centers affiliated to the Ministry of Education.

Vision

To be a program that contributes to cultural transfer and science with its new perspectives by identifying and analyzing the accumulation of Turkish Language and Literature from past to present and the interaction between literary texts and historical, political, cultural and social conditions by making use of fields such as history, art history and sociology.
