Mission

The mission of the Istanbul Arel University Computer Engineering Program is to educate computer engineers who can effectively use contemporary engineering methods, transfer scientific and technological advancements to their profession, are aware of their role in the formation of the information society, and can think analytically and critically.

The program aims to cultivate individuals who can specialize in areas such as software engineering, artificial intelligence, data science, and system and network technologies; who possess professional ethical values; who are open to interdisciplinary collaboration; and who are innovative in their approach.

Vision

The vision of the Istanbul Arel University Computer Engineering Program is to be an innovative and productive educational program that is recognized at national and international levels, contributes to the field of informatics through scientific research and technological advancements, and leads developments in the discipline.

It is aimed that program graduates will possess the knowledge and skills to take on leadership roles in industry, academia, and the public sector, and will be professionals who contribute to technological development and digital transformation.

Objectives

The primary objective of the program is to provide students with in-depth knowledge and skills in the design, development, and implementation of computer systems.

Within this framework, the program aims to ensure that students can transform theoretical knowledge into practice, develop innovative solutions to engineering problems, and effectively use rapidly evolving information technologies.
Additionally, the program aims to strengthen students’ competencies in research, analysis, and project development, enabling them to become engineers who can compete at both national and international levels.
