General Secretariat

The General Secretariat of Istanbul Arel University has been established in accordance with Chapter Eight (Administrative Organizations), Article 51, and Appointment Principles, Article 52 of the Higher Education Law No. 2547, as well as the Decree Law on the Administrative Organization of Higher Education Upper Organizations and Higher Education Institutions. It is responsible to the Rector for ensuring that the activities of the university’s administrative organization are carried out effectively and efficiently.

As the General Secretariat, our primary objective is to enhance the effectiveness of the administrative structure and to implement a sustainable management approach in line with the strategic goals of our university. Within this framework, our main duties include ensuring coordination between administrative units and academic structures, supporting decision-making processes, and ensuring that services are carried out in an integrated and holistic manner.

The rapidly changing conditions of our time have made digitalization inevitable for higher education institutions. As the General Secretariat, we view the digital transformation process as a strategic opportunity for the development of our university. The integration of digital technologies into administrative processes increases efficiency, facilitates access to information, and enables us to establish faster, more transparent, and more effective communication with our stakeholders.

Our efforts continue to expand digital applications such as management information systems, electronic document management, online service infrastructures, and artificial intelligence–supported analysis systems throughout the university. In this direction, we aim to ensure that digitalization becomes not only a technical transformation but also an integral part of our institutional culture by acting in coordination with all our administrative units.

As the Istanbul Arel University family, we continue our activities with determination to create an innovative and dynamic university structure that enhances student and employee satisfaction and meets the requirements of the modern age.
