According to Article 11/1 of our University’s Exemption and Adjustment Procedures Guideline, the exemption and adjustment procedures are carried out by the Exemption and Adaptation Commission, which consists of 3 instructors and was formed by the Headship of the relevant faculty/school department within the knowledge of the Dean’s Office/Directorate. At the Vocational School, the Exemption and Adjustment Commission consists of the Head of the relevant Department, Program Officer, and an instructor related to the field of the course to be adjusted.
According to Article 12/7 of the University’s Exemption and Adjustment Procedures Guideline, the year in which the student is adjusted in the Lateral and Vertical transfer is determined by dividing the total exempted ECTS credits by 60 and completing it to the nearest integer. The year in which the student will be adjusted is one more than this exact number.
According to Article 13/1 of the University’s Exemption and Adjustment Procedures Guideline, the Exemption and Adjustment Commission decides on exemption by taking into account the weekly hours, weekly plan or ECTS credits of the courses, regardless of whether it is compulsory / elective and the course names are identical, based on the compatibility of the content of the course or courses subject to exemption. Exemption procedures are evaluated by taking into account the program competencies that are aimed to be provided to students.
