Psychology Program

Within the framework of this program, it is aimed to provide students with the theoretical and practical knowledge and skills that a good psychologist should have, as well as to ensure that students have social and ethical responsibility. Psychologists who will graduate from the program and receive a diploma from the Doctoral program in Psychology will have equipment in the following areas:

• Psychopathology
• Multivariate Statistics (Structural Equation Modeling)
• Individual Psychotherapy
• Group Psychotherapies
• Methodology of Scientific Research

In order to gain clinical experience, students will be given supervision in the fields of psychotherapy and psychological evaluation. Students will receive 4 separate supervisions in the fields of ’Adult Psychotherapy‘, ’Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy‘ and ’Family Therapies’.

In addition, the program aims to enable students to publish their scientific researches and theses in scientific journals.

The equipment acquired by the students in the program will provide the necessary background for their academic progress (such as assistant professorship, associate professorship, professorship).
