Machinery Program

ACADEMIC

VOCATIONAL SCHOOL

The machinery sector is an important part of the engineering industry and one of the most important industrial pillars of the union’s economy. It would not be wrong to say that machine manufacturing, especially including design processes, is one of the areas where the added value is highest within the manufacturing fields. Since designing and creating a complete machine involves both knowledge-intensive engineering processes and manufacturing processes that require infrastructure, experience and precision related to many fields. It is a simple fact that when a machine cannot be made or there is no machine, many industrial products cannot be made either.

The purpose of the machine program is to use all kinds of machines, design and manufacture of machine parts subject to production in related production areas with computer-aided design (CAD-CAM), maintenance and repair, measurement and quality control, have information about hydraulic and pneumatic systems, provide knowledge and skills in material recognition and inspection (destructive-non-destructive), it is to train intermediate manpower to work on issues related to drawing machine manufacturing technical drawings and processing them using machining and non-machining manufacturing methods on related machines.

Fields of Study

Graduates of the Machinery Programme can take jobs in the fields of business tracking, quality control, process planning, heat processor, control and automation, technical service and promotion.

Areas where graduates can work;

They can work in the programming and operation of CNC Turning/milling machines.

They can take part in the maintenance and repair of production machines.

They can be assigned to make the layout plans of the machines in the factories.

They can collect the necessary data for a quality production and work on the implementation of quality control and Quality Management Systems.

By following the new technologies related to the sector in which they work, they can examine and apply their applicability to the business in which they are located.

They can take part in Production, Maintenance and Resource Planning systems

They can be assigned to perform Energy Management of Factory Systems.
