The Fashion Textile and Garment Sector is a sector that provides services in many fields. Even if it is considered only in terms of clothing; it covers areas such as women’s clothing, men’s clothing, children’s clothing, knitwear. However, accessories such as bags, shoes and various jewelry designs are also collected under the roof of this area. Apart from the field of clothing and accessories, it also includes areas such as general fabric production and design, printing, knitting, weaving and home textiles. In order to carry out competitive production and marketing in the sector, there is a shortage of creative staff who have a contemporary fashion sense, have received theoretical and practical training intertwined. The fashion design department trains designers and fashion consultants who are experts in their field with computer-equipped course content covering the fashion phenomenon, design criteria, fashion trends, weaving, knitting, printing knowledge, garment knowledge, accessory design and production techniques for the needs of the sector. After graduating from the fashion design program, graduates can work in various positions as a designer, stylist, modelist, customer representative, planning specialist or production department in all the areas we have mentioned above in the sector.
