Mission

Our department has an educational program that focuses on practical courses. In addition to the technical and project-based courses that form the backbone of design education and span the four-year program, a curriculum has been designed to train cartoon and animation specialists who can meet contemporary needs. Through elective courses, students have the opportunity to specialize in areas such as Digital Game Design, CGI, Special Effects Design, and Video Production.

Vision

The Department of Cartoon and Animation envisions training Cartoon and Animation Artists who are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to serve in every unit of the information and communication sector, advertising agencies, digital game design companies, media organizations, film and visual communication industry affiliates, and corporate communication departments. These artists are expected to adhere to ethical values, be aware of global and national realities, and believe in the importance of lifelong learning.
