Aims

The primary aim of the department is to provide students with the disciplines in the fields of cartoon and animation, both 2D and 3D. Based on this, introducing students to drawing and different art disciplines along with basic design courses is among the planned objectives. In this way, students are also supported in more traditional areas. In the later stages, various disciplines that support the established structure are also provided, such as visual effects production, stop-motion video techniques, scriptwriting, character animation, concept design, and animation film production. After this multi-discipline provision, the aim is to provide the student with as much convenience as possible in the direction he or she wants to go.

Objectives

1.To equip students with the skills to create animations based on aesthetic values, allowing them to technically bring to life the animations they envision or are exemplified.

2.To equip students with the competence to secure effective and successful careers in the fields of cartoon, animation, game design, and special effects design.

3.To instill the ability to manage digital art projects, communicate with consumers, and work interactively with digital art teams.

4.To provide the ability to present or express the profession, its ethics, and one’s own professional perspective. 5.To train individuals who will closely follow developments in the field, stay up to date with technology, and contribute to the scientific advancement of the discipline.
