Goals and Objectives

The Industrial Engineering (English) program at Istanbul AREL University aims to cultivate highly skilled industrial engineers who are environmentally conscious and capable of excelling in various sectors that produce goods or services at national and international levels within a global competitive environment. Our program is designed to equip students with the ability to plan and analyze, develop and apply cutting-edge and sustainable technologies such as artificial intelligence, identify problems in existing systems, and generate solutions to achieve objectives. Additionally, graduates will be prepared to conduct academic research in research institutions and participate in interdisciplinary R&D or social responsibility projects.

The program aims to provide graduates with the following competencies:

• Leadership and Management: To take on responsibilities in leadership and managerial positions within various sectors that produce goods or services at national and international levels in a competitive global environment.
• Research and Innovation: To conduct academic research in research institutions, develop and apply current and sustainable technologies, and participate in interdisciplinary R&D or social responsibility projects.
• Entrepreneurship: To establish their own ventures or form partnerships to engage in commercial activities.

In line with these goals, the program is designed to ensure that graduates possess both technical expertise and management and entrepreneurial skills. By combining theoretical knowledge with practical applications, the Industrial Engineering program at Istanbul AREL University prepares students to become innovative and socially responsible professionals who can contribute to the advancement of industries and society.
