Alumni of the Department of Industrial Engineering (English)

Between 2013 and 2023, our department proudly graduated 237 students. Our alumni community consists of individuals who have written remarkable success stories both nationally and internationally. Graduates of our Industrial Engineering program continue their careers successfully in areas such as manufacturing, logistics, finance, technology, and consulting, making valuable contributions to the professional world.

Where Are Our Graduates?

Our graduates are employed in leading industrial corporations, service industries, consulting firms, and technology companies across Türkiye and beyond. Some of our alumni have become entrepreneurs, establishing their own businesses and building new success stories. Others have pursued academic paths, advancing their knowledge through postgraduate studies.

  • Ali Savaşan, a 2013 graduate, was honored with the “Shining Career Award” at a university-organized alumni recognition ceremony. He currently works as Customer Experience Manager at Flo Group. In addition, he completed his PhD in Business Administration last year, further strengthening his academic achievements.

Alumni Engagement & Activities

Our department places great importance on maintaining strong ties with its alumni. We regularly organize meetings, experience-sharing sessions, and online events to stay in close contact with our graduates.

  • Alumni–Student Meetups
In our virtual meetings, alumni mentor current students on career planning, transitioning into professional life, and industry insights. Some of our graduates with over ten years of experience share their career journeys, providing inspiration to younger peers. These heartfelt gatherings help strengthen alumni bonds while offering students valuable guidance for the future.
  • Alumni Events
Faculty members and alumni from undergraduate and graduate programs occasionally come together at various events. These activities encourage mutual experience sharing and contribute to sustaining long-term alumni relationships.
  • Advisory Board & Alumni Contributions

Our alumni contribute not only through mentoring but also by actively participating in the development of our academic programs.

  • Most recently, on April 17, 2025, we held a Program Objectives and Curriculum Review Meeting with the participation of alumni and faculty members.
  • A Strong Alumni Network for a Stronger Future

The strong communication we maintain with our alumni is not just a connection to the past — it is a strategic partnership for the future. Through upcoming events and collaborative alumni-student initiatives, we aim to strengthen this valuable bond even further. As the Arel Industrial Engineering Family, we take pride in the achievements of our graduates and continue to support their success.
