Career Opportunities

Graduates of the Department of Turkish Language and Literature have the academic equipment to work as Turkish teachers and Turkish Language and Literature teachers in schools affiliated to the Ministry of Education, private schools, tutoring, and private lesson centers. Likewise, as experts in Turkish Language and Literature, they can find jobs in the press and media sector, as book editors, screenwriters,  advertising agencies,  advertisement writers and as staff in archives and libraries. Our students who want to make an academic career can also receive a master’s degree in the field of Turkish Language and Literature and are entitled to become a science expert with their thesis. This offers our graduates who have completed their master’s degree the opportunity to apply for research positions in many faculties of science and literature/Turkish language and literature departments and faculties of education of our universities that provide education and training within Türkiye.
