Faculty member of our department Prof. Dr. As a Member of the Hemophilia Association of Turkey, Ergül Berber supports the fight against hereditary bleeding diseases, especially Hemophilia in our country. In this context, a research project titled TUBITAK 1001, ‘Identifying genetic variations in hemophilia B cases in Turkey and creating a Hemophilia B Genetic Database in Turkey (Tr-HBGVT)” was carried out. The data obtained within the scope of the project have been presented at national and international congresses. At the 18th International Hemophilia Congress of Turkey, held in Cyprus between September 19-22, 2021, their presentation titled “Somatic Mosaicism in Hemophilia B Patients” was awarded the Best Paper Presentation prize.
